Every November, we bring together a group of independent creators, educators, storytellers, and industry professionals from different disciplines, genres, and formats for a weekend of discovery, inspiration, and innovation. An invitation-only event, IMI Fest features workshops, exhibits, performances, and more, aimed at fostering connection within the independent media ecosystem.
The centerpiece of the festival is the presentation of the IMI Awards, which honor exceptional independent creators and celebrate the intrinsic educational and artistic value of their work.
